Seminyak seamlessly blends modern luxury with a laid-back beach vibe, making it a favorite for people who want a luxury experience.

Not far from the international airport, and a hub for is perfect for influencers, bloggers, foodies, and people who enjoy nightlife, Seminyak is the spot. If you enjoy high-end shopping, gourmet dining, and stylish beach clubs, this is the place for you. It’s also a great spot for those looking to mix relaxation with a bit of excitement.

Ubud is located between lush landscapes and is famous as Bali’s cultural and spiritual heart. This serene town is known for its yoga and spiritual healing, artistic vibes, traditional crafts, and relaxing getaway. Ubud offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the coastal areas, providing a perfect blend of nature, culture, and peace.

Ubud is ideal for culture seekers, nature lovers, and people who want to relax. If you’re drawn to art, enjoy exploring lush green surroundings, or are looking for a place to rejuvenate your mind and body, Ubud is the perfect destination. Local massages or facials outside of main resort areas will run you around $3-$5 hour.  I made sure to experience both almost every single day.

The Monkey Forest is a sacred sanctuary. It is home to hundreds of playful monkeys and ancient temples. You can hike through the trails and enjoy the unique experience of observing these creatures in their natural habitat.

Tegalalang Rice Terraces:

One of Bali’s most iconic landscapes, the Tegalalang Rice Terraces offer stunning views and an opportunity to learn about traditional Balinese rice farming. It’s a photographer’s dream backdrop and a peaceful spot for a walk. Personally, I had a young girl walk up to me on the street and ask if I wanted to “see something”.  Of course, my curiously said yes, and thankfully the experience was amazing as she walked me through the rice fields, introduced me to the farmers and pointed out various spices, flora and fauna.  While this could have gone horribly wrong when you get led to places by locals, I was lucky and found a guide when I wasn’t looking for one.  While less than safe, it was worth the experience.

Just a short walk away is the Ubud Market, where you can find various art, crafts, and souvenirs.  Here you will find that prices are considerably higher than when you get further outside of the main touristy area.  Just remember, everywhere you go, prices are negotiable.
